Good afternoon to you. I’m Bryce Roberts, Louisville Agricultural Club, Inc., Scholarship Chairman and I’m passing along the application for our three $4,000.00 scholarships. Eligible students would be those that attend schools in the Louisville area (Jefferson, Bullitt, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Henry, and Trimble in Kentucky, and Clark, Floyd, and Harrison in Indiana). Scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who enroll in agricultural or agricultural-related curricula at agricultural colleges or universities only in Kentucky or Indiana. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement, financial need, leadership, extra-curricular activities, character and citizenship.

Bonnie & Printis Shelton Scholarship (2019 - $1,000) Eligible Applicants: Graduating seniors of Madison Consolidated High School, Southwestern High School, or Trimble County High School accepted into and attending any accredited two or four year college or university. Required: Class rank in the top 20% of graduating class. Criteria Evaluated: Financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular activities. FAFSA EFC required.
We opened our online application on Sunday, December 1. Students will have until January 31, 2020 at Noon to submit their application. Counselors will have until February 7, 2020 at Noon to upload and submit transcripts and academic information. FAFSA must be submitted prior to applying.

Governor's Scholar Program meeting #2 will be held Friday October 25, at 8:30 am in the TCJR/SR High Library.
Ivy Tech in Madison Indiana, will be hosting a pathway exploration day on October 28th. This will be for current high school students ( freshmen and sophomores) interested in one of the following pathways to tour the Ivy Tech campus. In addition there will be an overview of each pathway that Ivy Tech offers. Permission slips will be sent home and need to be returned to Mr. Craig or Ms. Howerton no later than October 22. Please see the itinerary for specific pathways information.

9:15 to 9:45 a.m. – Ivy Tech Tour
