The Lady Raiders Volleyball team will be hosting a youth camp tomorrow at the board of education gym from 9-12. Girls in grades K-7 are invited to participate. The cost is $40 and all proceeds go to Trimble County High School volleyball.

Our sincerest apology for the late notice but 2 drivers just notified of emerging situations that will not permit them to drive in the morning. 2022-2023 VIRTUAL LEARNING OPTION
The Covid Pandemic taught us many things and forced us to function in new ways and adjust to innovative ideas. During the last 2 years, we have discovered that some students do not necessarily need in-person learning opportunities and in fact, not only do they prefer to work independently and at a self-paced rate, but they excel with this learning design. Some students struggled with the virtual learning format, but some excelled. We recognize and value the various learning preferences of our students! Therefore, we will continue to offer the virtual learning option for the 2022-2023 school year to students that qualify. Good afternoon! Last night the Trimble Co. Board of Ed. voted to amend the calendar for this school year. The last day of school for students will be Monday, May 23, 2022. Please mark your calendars!
We hope everyone enjoyed a much-anticipated spring break! Believe or not, it's back to school Monday. When students and teachers return to class tomorrow, they will have just 31 days of school left in the year. Those days will be filled with lots of activities, including preparation for end-of-year assessments, high school prom, father/daughter & mother/son events, awards and recognition ceremonies, field trips and our grand finale...Senior Graduation on May 28th at 10am. The North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) will be on site March 11, to follow up with flu shots and covid boosters for TC Jr/Sr High School Students. Vaccinations will take place from 9:30am to 11:30am. A parent/guardian MUST be on site, at school with the student, in order for the student to be vaccinated. Trimble County Schools will operate on a one hour delay for Monday morning, February 7, 2022. A delay ensures that our bus routes are operated in daylight and provides a better visual to our drivers if snow is in their turn-a-round, etc. Schools will be open at regular time for student drop-off. All assignments and necessary resources were sent home yesterday with your child in preparation for NTI days, today and tomorrow. If we experience power outages in the area, we will change the status to closed. There will be NO SCHOOL in Trimble County Schools on Friday, January 28th due to inclement weather. Side roads in the northern end of the county are already covered and snow is expected to continue throughout the night. Students will complete NTI work from home tomorrow. Teachers will be available throughout the day to communicate with students and provide assistance as needed. Please don't hesitate to contact your child's school if you have any questions.
Most likely, you have heard that inclement weather will be moving into our area, this evening. If the weather predictions are accurate & it is unsafe for bus travel, TC Schools will utilize its first Non-Traditional Instructional Day (NTI). If we close and use an NTI day, this announcement will be made on the district’s FB page & major news stations by 6 am. If this is the case, students would not report to school tomorrow, but will complete assignments at home that have been provided either virtually or in paper form. Students should complete the assignments as instructed by teachers. Teachers will be available during the school day for contact by either phone, class app or email to provide assistance & answer student questions. If you have questions, you can contact your child’s school.
This afternoon, January 12th, some Bedford Bus Routes will be delayed 15 to 20 minutes in drop-off due to driver shortage. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Good Evening TC Students and Staff. We look forward to welcoming you all back to school tomorrow, Monday, January 3, 2022! We have a few small transportation adjustments for Milton Routes tomorrow morning. Students that ride route #511 will be picked up approximately 30 minutes later than normal by bus #813. Students on Liberty Rd and Racetrack Rd will be picked up 10 to 15 minutes later than normal by bus #328. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Have a great evening!
Reminder that The North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) will be on site again tomorrow, to follow up with the 2nd vaccine dose. They will be at each of the schools to administer Covid Vaccines and/or Flu Shots. Moderna, Pfizer and J&J will be available for students ages 18 and up and Pfizer will available for students 5 yrs. of age and up. In addition, they will also be providing flu shots to students of any age. Vaccinations will take place at MES 8:30am - 10am, BES 10:30am-12:00pm and TC Jr/Sr High 1:00pm-2:30pm. A parent/guardian MUST be on site, at school with the student, in order for them to be vaccinated.

In the spirit of the Holiday Season, Trimble County Schools will be kicking off Winter Break a day early! The last day for students and staff before Christmas will be Thursday, December 16, 2021. The last day was initially scheduled to be Friday, December 17th but we have surplus instructional minutes built into the school schedule that enables us to take the Friday off, and NOT have to make it up!
