Bedford BEAR families, tomorrow, Tuesday February 11th, we will have a traditional snow day- no NTI work. Hopefully, this helps you prepare for child care during this time and enjoy the snow.

This week is Counselor Appreciation! We love Ms. Johnson and want her to feel really special. We will be treating her with dress up days.

A message from the district.
This week, September 9-13, we have so many activities planned. It's Book Fair week, College Dress-Up Days, Tuesday night Literacy Night, and Gravy for Grandparents Breakfast.
Parents and Pre-School Parents, the beginning of the school year is going well. We are getting in the routine of students walking in the building and getting to their classes. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 27, we are going to limit the number of adults walking into the building. You may walk your student to the office, but students are able to get to their classes on their own. We are building independent students at BES, this is another way to do so. This also means siblings need to go to their classes and let the littles be taken to classes by the Pre-School staff. Thank you for all your support, have a great night and a terrific Tuesday.
Can you believe it? Tomorrow is the first day of the 2024-2025 school year!! We are so excited to see your children, our students.
Drop off starts at 7:30AM, but this is not a time when students go to the classroom. Students may go to the classroom at 7:45. We realize that many families may want walk students in the building, please bring an ID so that we can allow you to be in the building. Students will be released in the afternoon at 2:55PM. Please stay in your cars and be patient with us this first week. Bus riders typically leave BES between 3:05-3:10.
Get a good night's rest because we are ready for a big day full of fun and learning
Kindergarten Jumpstart is August 6th from 9:00 - 11:00. Please let us know if you are attending.

What: Meet the Kindergarten teachers and instructional assistants to learn about kindergarten expectations and Title I.

You can come to school and enjoy learning about science-based projects that you can do with your child at home.
You can also volunteer for the day, if you would like.
24-25 Kindergarten Registration Information. Bedford Elementary Kindergarten Registration will be April 12, 9:00-2:00 and April 19, 9:00-2:00.
Children who are eligible for kindergarten during the 2024-2025 school year must be five years of age on or before August 1st, 2024.
