
Atten Intermediate Families: As part of the new testing updates for KPREP for the 2020-21 school year, intermediate students will be participating in pilot testing Tues/Wed, Feb. 25-26. Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest and is in attendance on these days.

Our annual Back to School Fair will take place this Friday at BES from 9:00-5:00. All TC families are encouraged to attend to receive free back to school supplies, shoes, clothing, and hygiene needs. Vendors will be on site to help our families connect with community resources.


Join us for Open House from 5:30-7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 6th.

We are in the process of rescheduling our Open House that was scheduled for Aug. 8th due to the scheduling of the public meeting regarding the sludge farm. Stay tuned for a new date.


MES will be hosting Kindergarten Jumpstart Aug. 6-7th in order to help your kindergartner transition to school. Please contact the school to let us know if your child will attend and if he/she will ride the bus. See events for more details.


I am excited to share with you that we will have 4 new team members this year at MES. Our team has worked through the month of June to recruit and hire new staff that bring with them a passion for children and learning that will accentuate our mission of "At Milton Elementary, We Put KIDS First!"
In 4th grade, we will welcome Mrs. Beth Kays coming to us from Carroll County. In our sensory classroom, we welcome Ms. Janet Geyman (teacher) and Mr. Patrick Wooley (IA). We also welcome Ms. Shellee Boyer as our new kindergarten IA. I will be posting profiles for each in the next few of weeks.
We are very excited to begin the year with a focus on "Dreaming with Determination!" Watch for more information about our theme for this year.

Supply lists are now available on the webpage under documents for the 2019-20 academic year. 4th grade will be posted soon as we have a new 4th grade teacher this year. :-)

Shout out from Ms. Gonterman to Liberty Smith for being the Trimble County district winner of the Conservation art contest!!! She received her cash award, certificate, and T-shirt two weeks ago Tuesday night at a dinner hosted at the extension office, along with the two other school winners: Dakota Harmon and Ethan Heinz. Great job guys! 🥳

High School football returns to Trimble County as TCHS will be fielding a Junior Varsity team for the 2019 season, with plans to return to varsity competition in the near future. Be apart of the next chapter and start the process of creating a new tradition in Trimble County Football by joining us on Thursday May 16th at 7:00 PM in the High School Cafeteria for information session about the upcoming Junior Varsity and Middle School Football season.
