
FAFSA NIGHT (Student Financial Aid) for SENIORS
Ivy Tech will be at Trimble County Jr/Sr High School on Wednesday, October 13, @ 5:30pm to walk parents and students through the process of completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Students and parents are encouraged to attend this event, so that the FAFSA is completed early as possible. Parents will need to provide completed tax information, so a copy of last years W2 forms will be needed from the parent(s) that claimed the student.
Students will also need to bring their Chromebook in order to complete the FAFSA.

FREE CLASSES AT IVY TECH
I wanted to send a quick reminder that Ivy Tech Madison is offering Take a Class on Us during the 2nd 8 week semester this fall! Classes begin on October 20th and are open to any area high school student who meets prerequisites. Classes are 100% FREE this semester, including tuition, books, and fees. Students may pick up their school chromebook from the library, during the school day. In order for your child to receive their chromebook, a parent/guardian must complete online registration and pay a $75 usage fee. Reminder: NCDHD Covid-19 Boost Vaccination Clinic for students will be held Wednesday morning June 9th 9am-11am at the Trimble County Jr./Sr. High School. This will be a drive-thru clinic for those students that have already received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Information along with the consent form was sent home with students prior to the last day of school. A parent or legal guardian must complete and sign the consent form. Please have your consent form ready prior to your arrival as this is a drive-thru clinic. If you have any questions, feel free to call our Health Services Coordinator Gina Liter RN at (502) 663-0073. Happy Friday! For those students attending Summer School, please remember to bring your charged device, if you have not already turned it in to Mrs. Haney. Summer School will begin on Tuesday, June 1st, and will run through Friday, June 18th. Hours are 9 am - 3 pm.

Just a friendly reminder that we have several students that have not turned in their Chromebook and/or charger. Please return these items to the school at your earliest convenience, Monday - Friday, 9am-2pm, by June 18th. If you cannot locate your device, the replacement cost is $250. Skilled Trades and Technology Network Scholarship
Our $2,000 ISN Scholarship occurs four times a year and is open to high school seniors and current college students.

The Underclassmen Awards Program will be livestreamed on our Facebook Page at 1:10 pm.
The Senior Awards Program will be held tonight at 6 pm in the gymnasium. This event is limited to Seniors and their families.
The Junior High Awards Program will be livestreamed tomorrow at 8:30 am.
While guests are not permitted to attend the ceremonies being held during the regular school day, we hope that you will enjoy the livestreamed presentation and recognition of our students.
