Students are highly encouraged to work to complete the exempted focus areas, as completion will result in a supplement to student grades and/or replacement of previously assigned work, and will serve to strengthen student foundations for re-entry next year.
Focus areas coming due after the last day of school attendance, March 13th, will not be mandatory for completion, but will remain visible and accessible to students on a separate line on the year page.
In response to the COVID-19 school closure, and after receiving feedback from parents and students regarding NTI work assigned, there will be some changes in focus area requirements on the Summit platform.

Good Afternoon
We are currently in the planning process of how we will honor our scholarship recipients this year. I need any Senior that has received an outside scholarship to please email me that information which includes Scholarship name, who it is from, the amount of the award, and where they will be attending school in the fall. These scholarships may be from any group, school, or organization. Please contact me at David.Craig@Trimble.KySchools.US. Local scholarship awards are being decided on at this time and will be announced during the award ceremony. Please do not post awards on Facebook for this purpose. I would like to be able to collect the information in one central place so that nothing is missed.
Thanks and have a great day.
Please join Ivy Tech on Thursday May, 7 at 5:30 pm as they present options for our student both during and after high school.

ATTENTION SENIORS
If you have not received a call from Ms. Howerton or Mr. Craig this week, we need you to contact us. We need to discuss your current status in regards to graduation. We will also be attempting to contact you via phone calls. Since we do not have the majority of your phone numbers, we will need to contact your parent/guardian to get permission (if under age 18) as well as your phone number. Our goal is to complete this as soon as possible so please reach out to us. This will be the same discussions that we had earlier in the year, we just need to do a final confirmation that you are on track and understand the importance of assignment and course completion. Please contact Ms. Howerton @ 502-663-0066 or Mr. Craig @ 502-221-7611.
Greetings, Raider Families! We hope all is going well as you get back into the swing of things after break. We will send out a message once week 6 work is ready for pickup. In the meantime, please continue to drop off any completed work to us, M-F, 8am-4pm. Stay safe and healthy!

The Jr/Sr High cafeteria is providing great meals each day, from noon to 1:00. If you have not taken advantage of the free meals, please do so! These are for any family with children age 19 and under. Just pull around back, and staff will bring your meals to your car window!
The correct site for student login to their ILP is https://www2.careercruising.com/my/login/ilp
This is in regards to yesterdays information that I will post below. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Specific information has been sent to students that are out of the building at JCTC, Ivy Tech, or CCATC. Please have your child check their TC email for that information.
Students are required to complete his or her Individual Learning Plan (ILP), in grades 6-12. This is a valuable tool for career exploration, which also produces a resume of the students activities and achievements. Students should log on to https://public.careercruising.com/en/ and complete the ILP. This would also be a great opportunity for students and parents to begin to look at career interests together. Students can reach out to their mentor teacher, or to TCJRSR HS, to get their username/password if they do not remember it. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns that you may have.
Students without internet access may pick up packets at the school, beginning tomorrow at 9 am. If you are unable to pick up a packet on or before Monday, please contact the school to arrange delivery to your student. Please reach out with any questions/concerns you may have!
Jr/Sr High students with internet access may login to Google Classroom to retrieve their class assignments. Access a master list of all course codes, by teacher, here:

Good Afternoon,
Given the current situation with the growing health crisis,we have decided to postpone the JCTC-Ivy Tech presentations this evening. We want to give everyone the opportunity to attend this event in order to get the needed information from these schools. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will certainly be looking at dates to reschedule this event. Thank you for your understanding.
